The OPUS Experience
A family owned and run business, Opus has been strongly operating for 43 years. Situated on the ever so bustling Oxford Street in Paddington, the shop is full of affordable gifts that are stylish but also quite individual and more often than not, that little bit quirky. Photographer Eloise Clarke creates a gorgeous Wall of Frames
Photographer and friend, Eloise Clarke recently created a striking wall of frames consisting of six white Corban & Blair beauty frames. The frames sit beautifully against a vibrant green wall in her office, showcasing her gorgeous portrait photography. Another wall also features two fantastic Cloth canvases she purchased at a recent Cloth sale.

Treasuring the past in a unique way
Amanda's home is definitely an interesting piece of architecture and history. Built in the 1890s, it first stood as an Inn and since served as a fish and chips shop and medical practice before it became a residential property in the 1970s. Amanda and her family purchased the home in 2002 and have since renovated and found all sorts of historic pieces (under the fireplace, garden, the old carpet and so on) that recollect the homes past and its inhabitants. To preserve the history of the home Amanda decided it would be great to create a custom made frame (like a cabinet of discovered treasures!) that held the pieces together - have a look at the wonderful snapshot of history she and her family have created! We'll keep you posted for when it goes up on her wall so you can see the finished product in situ!

More kids art!
We have had such a great time looking for kids art work that we could put on our blog! Below is a picture painted by Harry, Amanda Blair's son. This is his take on Santa hung carefully in a Peg Frame. The peg feature makes it easy for Harry to change his picture regularly so that every time people come to visit him at home, he has a new piece of art to show them!!
And here is the door of Amanda's kitchen fridge - it is filled with all sorts of things Harry finds interesting. He is using the Magnet Peg hangers to keep important items in place!

Fabulous Kids Art Work
Last week a mother arrived on the door step of our studio with a folder of paintings under her arm. They weren't her paintings, but those of her twin daughters, Mattison and McKenzie.
Several staff looked with wonder at the fabulous kids art work, and went scurrying to try to find suitable frames that would really show off the colour and composition. The mother settled on some carbon neutral Black Box frames. We assisted with the framing and asked to take photos of the girls work to show our blog readers. so here they are!
The first was done by McKenzie when she was seven years old!
And this was painted by Mattison when she also, was seven years old!
You have to admit they are wonderful and any parent would be thrilled to hang these on the wall in their home to show the world! Well done to these two little girls.
